Hi,


I have a new car (05) i havent yet had a MOT can i still tax and will post office be aware of this?

Yes they are aware of the fact that new cars do not need an MOT until they are 3 years old, they tax hundreds of them every day!
Remember to take your insurance documents tho'.
and make sure its the actual certificate
Unless the reminders have changed, it will tell you what documents you need to tax your car. Once it is 3 years old renewal remonder will state.....certificate of insurance and current MOT certificate.
Why not just tax it online and save queuing at the PO?
if taxing online remember to allow time for them to send a disc. you need to have received the disc by the time the other one expires, not just have paid for it
