Pothole Problems
6 Answers
We need something to fill in the potholes in our drive - it's not metalled (it ws, but that was 50 years ago I'd guess!).
Don't know what the stuff is called, so difficult to track it down!

If you don't know any companies that do it round your way, phone your local council Highways Dept and ask if there is any re-surfacing works in your area. You say 'potholes'...how much would you want? We deliver it in 20 tonne loads, but you might be able to get some smaller loads. If you live East Midlands, tell me whereabouts you live and I might be able to suggest someone to go to. Don't just use hardcore or type 1 as it will just pick out of the hole again. Also, try and 'square up' the holes a bit to make it harder for the stone to pick out.
