...was my visit up there today...blow me they were really happy. Everything is fine but they want me to have another 'dye' session to check but other than that everything is brilliant. I was even a guniea pig for some medical students which I hope they found interesting/helpful.
Queenie, that is such good news, you're blooming marvellous, keep up the good work :)
I've not been on here much of late but have just caught up on what's been going on with you and can see you've been having a rough time lately. Stay positive, you're doing all the right things, you're a total inspiration and if I could I'd give you a great big hug. Keep at it :o)
Thank you ethandron, if you'd like to keep in touch I can give you my throwaway. I will keep going, with what's gone on its put me off hypoing, but I was 6 just before dinner and I was on edge but I got through it.
Queenie, do you have brittle diabetes? I'm not very knowledgeable about it but the little I do know tells me it's something of a pain to get to grips with. Have you read the book 'metal jam' (or something like that)?
I'm a pretty private person to be honest, and don't honestly know if I'd be any help to you, but if you think it might help, then I'd give it some serious consideration, having contact with you away from AB.... xx
I'm not familiar with brittle diabetes? Do you mean as in poorly controlled? I've not heard of the book but I will certainly have a look. I understand though, but anytime just ask :)
Thank you Marval, it amazes me how far I've come in 9 months and what I've achieved. I still need to wait and see what they say after the dye and photos but all being well I shall be on course :)
