I haven't seen that episode yet, but "erection" comes up quite often. (No pun intended). I don't know why the fuss this time.
Quite recently, according to a newspaper, s h I t f a ce d was given as an answer, but the contestant was told to submit another word.

It seems to be when Dr Phil Hammond is on that certain words get noticed more than usual. He seems to like saying "undies" and "panties" quite a lot.
