sold item sent recorded delivery. Buyer says envelope was empty as they claim I used recycled unsticky selotape. As the address was stuck with same selotape, proves the tape was good.

Ive asked them to return the envelope so I can claim off PO & offered refund on receipt. Instead they choose to open a 'review' for ebay's decision. Can they claim from PO without the receipt?

Your fault if you are daft enough to sign for an empty envelope. By signing for it you have accepted it, you are supposed to check for damage / open / damaged seals etc before you sign for it.

Just proves what I have been saying on here recently, eBay are NOT now always on the side of the buyer! They are much more even handed than a year or two ago.
