As was suggested in the story. A naval blockade off the Libyan coast by joint NATO navies.This subject has been discussed exhaustingly in another thread. Rescue as many as possible.Return them to Libya and scuttle the boats if any slip through the blockade. All very well for our "United" Europe to squabble about the cost of these naval patrols but it would be false economy for Europe to take on all these at later date should they reach other countries.Not all are true refugees but chancers wanting a better way of life.

Can I refer you back to the OP from aog entitled "When are the Italians going to say enough is enough"I don't think there is much more to add to this post as it really is so similar.Only difference is the death rate has risen.Still the same problem though.
