I am not sure what you mean by this, but i am guessing that you have had some blood and urine tests taken as routine because of your Type 2 diabetes.
One of the results that has come back is that your glomerular filtration rate is less than 60mls/ minute...........I am guessing that is what you mean.
\\should i be worried with situation \\\
YES and NO.
There are 5 stages of chronic kidney disease and each one, may or may not progress to the next stage.
Stage 1 is no big deal.
Stage 5 is kidney transplant time....if you are fir enough and stages 2,3,4 are increasing damage to your kidney.
I assume from what you have said, that you have Stage 3 chronic nephritis. About 60% of this group may continue like this for 15-20 years and die of something unrelated whereas others may go on to Stage 4 after a year or so.
This is not easy to describe in simple terms on AB, but i have done my best to precis a rather complicated situation.
Should you be worried? Keep your diabetes under control, maintain a check on your BP, don't put on too much weight, cut out smoking and just have the odd "snifter" and the answer is.....NO..you shouldn't be worried.
