have always read where in Europe because of limited space that after many years, there were layers of persons on the same spot to save space. Is that true, were they all in coffins, wouldn't that have to be a really deep hole. Just wondering.

UK has less space than Europe. Owning graves for 99years will soon have us run out of land. Am for cremation & ashes for fertiliser or fish food.
