my window will not wind up as the winder is broken any ideas if i can fix this myself or do i take it to a garage?

wether its an electric one or manual its easy peasy.the electric regulator normally bolts to the door and the manual version pop rivets,i take it its not the handle of course.

yerh the handle has actually broken

is the bit the handle goes on still poking out the trim?

yes it is it seems like the handle isnt gripping it enough to wind the window up!!

ok ,splines inside the handle are worn just take off the clip and buy a new handle about a fiver should take a couple of mins.
