chocolate tower

Could anyone come up with some ideas how to make a chocolate tower display for a wedding table display. Thanks.

what do you mean by a chocolate tower? do u mean chocolate profiteroles or a chocolate cake covered in melted chocolate in a tower shape? i am a chef so i may be able to help, i just need to know what you are thinking of.

Thanks for reply.First of all we thought of an ice sculpture but looking at the prices for a large one dismissed that idea.Then came up with this idea .We wanted something we could make at home not cake as we already have wedding cake being made but like different choc and bars and sweets made into something for a centre piece for the evening table.Is that any help or am I asking the impossible. thanks

no not asking the impossible...i take it you mean a selection of chocolate canape type things arranged in a tower form?

in the restaraunt we make a huge tray of chocolate ganache( chocolate, butter and cream), melt it all together and pour into a tray and leave to set, you can cut it up into wee squares and dust them with cocoa powder, millionair's shortcake, mini truffles, choc fridge cake, choc flapjacks....if you want any recipes email me at
