Bt Cloud Creating Duplicate Docs?
1 Answers
Hi, apologies if this is a silly Q, but I am working on a very long Word doc article using a number of laptops depending where I am at that time. Having a crisis because each time I download the document from BT Cloud it creates a new doc, i.e Doc(1), Doc(2) etc. I noticed that if you work on say Doc(2), the changes you make are not there when we access BT Cloud later on another laptop. This is very frustrating - I want a master doc available to download whichever device I am working on. Surely this is the point of the facility? Is this a set up issue? Yes I am a technophobe!

Since you have logged on to BT Cloud storage to retrieve the initial document, then any updates you perform (on whichever laptop you're using at the time) should automatically sync back to BT Cloud, PROVIDED the local folder where you're document resides is one that is set for sync'ing. Check your BT Cloud settings for which folders have a check box set and make sure you're local folder name is included in that list.
