Have you seen or made one of these?.......I can't believe I have just found out about them thanks to Sunny-Dave with his interest in Alzheimer's.

He had seen an article about it and thought I might be interested.

It's such a fantastic idea......how many people have I seen in my Mum's home twisting and wringing their hands?

I've started one and have a head full of ideas for making them interesting and tactile........Gx

I've started, Dave....so I'll pass mine on through you if that's okay....x

Hi, Ferlew....I saw those when I was googling the muffs for patterns.....such a good idea too......I have a huge stash of fabric so I'll add those to my list. I imagine a little felt booklet with photos in would work too....

So much better than just staring into space......x
gness, what a lovely idea & ... very nice of you to give your time to something like this x

Hi, Elina....apart from having a house full of stuff and needing to keep my hands busy.....I dread the day when I might be sitting in a circle twiddling my thumbs.....x
Ha! ;0) I've just been making laminated pics of animals for my granddaughter. I find books for the very young just too busy and distracting, so I've laminated some single images. I have a duck/ sparrow/ cat & dog so far x
I'll give them a go when I've finished my current project. They will be fun to do, Gness. Thanks for the link.
I'm going to try googling for muffs;)
And if you can't knit, half a metre of fleece would make a few, and still be pleasantly tactile and warm.
