One time, I used their website to do the comparing (discovered that Direct Line and some others do not permit CtM to list their prices) but, precisely because I didn't want a furry toy (no such thing as "free", with gimmicks), I avoided clicking the button which gets them paid and went direct to the company I preferred (not the cheapest, either, which was online-only, no traceable street address and potentially flaky).

Other than that, I agree with Cloverjo - give us cheaper premiums, not subsidised flim-flam. If people "rilly, rilly" want the toy, they will happily part with cash for it.


p.s. Things only become collectables when the majority of owners throw theirs away, or ruin them. In the case of these things, don't bin them: they'd make ideal chew toys at the dog rescue centre.
