I need a pair of wireless headphones for listening to my tv. Theres so many to chose from I could do with some advice. Please can anyone suggest a good pair and whether to get Infra-red or FM.
Thankyou. Lurchers

As you say there are so many to choose from but unless youve a shop with a comprehensive stock Id suggest a trip to Argos where they have a selection and you can actually ask to see them and feel the weight before purchasing - just dont go on a busy day!
Ive only ever used FM and the quality was pretty much spot on.
Make sure the headphones have a built in volume control and that they can go for a fair while between charges (unless you want to get a normal battery version - which Id only recommend if youre using them 24 hours a day)
And check compatibility for which connection you're using - headphone socket or Scart/Audio out.
Hope this helps

Youre welcome Lurchers, Id recommend a Scart or audio lead connection rather than a headphone socket as other people can then still watch the telly and you can adjust your headphone volume independently of the TV volume (you can have the TV turned right down if you wish). You may need an adaptor for this though which you can pick up anywhere for less than a fiver.
Regarding the weight thing, I bought some for my Dad which seemed light to me but he found too heavy - I now use them whilst out in my garden and must confess that I can feel when Ive had them on for a couple of hours - Ill end up with a neck like Tyson!!
