Been Type 2 for last 5½ years or so, no Medication for it Diet/Exercise Controlled with no problems.
Have recently been put on Metformin 500mg x 2 per day.
Other Meds are
Amlodipine 5mg
Ramipril 10mg
Atenol 50mg
Aspirin 75mg every other day
AVR in Aug '09 due to Endocarditis.
Nothing has changed at home, still walking miles with the dogs, using weights and keeping active. Am not overweight, in fact am a stone lighter that this time last year (intentional). As an Ex RM I take being as fit as possible seriously and at 63 I think I'm doing ok.
Question: What's gone wrong, and what if anything can I do to help it go right again?
Many thanks

LOL....nothing seems to have gone wrong Baldric, except that you are getting older..........organs wear out and don't last forever.

Your life style seems fine, your cardiovascular system seem to be under control....carry on with the same.......good on yer.
