London To Brighton?

I saw a lot of vintage trucks, coaches and even a open top fire engine this morning on my way to Gatwick airport. Was there some kind of vintage London to Brighton run, only for Commercial vehicles? Usually see loads of vintage cars. But only saw two Morris Travellers today.
