Recipe Ideas

Afternoon.

I've got the following ingredients:

Strawberries (8 punnets)
Bramley Apples (8)
Whipping cream (1/2 litre)
Pastry (Short and Puff)
Custard (4 litres)
Caster Sugar
Eggs (2 dozen)
Flour (plain and self raising)
Cocoa Powder
Butter
Margarine
Double Cream
Vanilla (pods and essence)
Jelly (all flavours)

And ideas?

I'd be making a crumble(apples+strawberries+sugar+flour+custard, and Eton mess(strawberries+egg whites+sugar+vanilla+double cream)
At work I sometimes make a trifle minus the sponge fingers...jelly+fruit+custard+whipped cream

Just in the process of making an apple pie and a strawberry flan. I've got plenty of strawberries left and apples. I'm going for an artistic look for the flan. I hope the jelly sets :s - I've had an issue with it before that really wasn't my fault!

I'm trying to incorporate more fruit in my diet and one of the ways of doing that is to at least eat deserts with fruit it. Any excuse ;)
