Well the The National Union of Students thinks so.

/// The NUS has agreed to oppose the Government's counter-terrorism bill with the help of Cage, the group who supported Mohammed Emwazi in the years before he joined Islamic State. ///

I have no idea why anyone would read the DM.
Headline:NUS motion says it will work with Cage to repeal anti-terror legislation

Actual stance of NUS:She said: 'The motion notes that other organisations will also be doing this but, to clarify, I have absolutely no intention of developing a working relationship - formal or otherwise - with Cage'.

If you like your headlines to be sensational rather than accurate then the DM is the paper for you.
No.
No, they should tighten them up and if the NUS (or any organisation)continue to support these terrorists they should crack down on them as well.
No.
No, it is probably time to tighten them.
It needs an overhaul

the anti terror legislation is a mess - BUT repealing and relegisation usually leads nowadays to more repression

You remember the Glasgow airport terrorist attack ?
One of the muslims was meant to be named - " Maheed zon fire" ?

He had a cousin in Oz - who was summarily fired ( for terrorism of course ) deprived of his medical licence ( terrorism of course ) and deported somewhere ( on the grounds of terrorism )

when he asked for the evidence he was told it was so secret he couldnt be told

actually as he maintained, that there was none ( no evidence that is )

and here is the final chapter....

Agree P.P. the word 'overhaul' is better.
