A friend's daughter was learning about homophones at primary school, the word 'hole' was used as an example, the teacher asked if there were any other examples of 'hole', to which one clever kid came up with 'whole', the said daughter then added to the list with '***' which I think was more than the teacher had bargained for!!

Oh no I got asterisked - it was another word for bottom ending in hole!!
