But if they drop out of the picture entirely, and the Lib Dems never recover, then we might be back to two-party politics again. At any rate, the SNP as third party is far from an ideal situation.
For their sake I hope UKIP sort this out and fast.

Nigel Farage has put the current Ukip crisis down to an attempt by the “Conservative lobby” to destabilise his party.
Appearing on Sky News in Westerham, Kent, this morning, he said there was one “senior figure” calling for change who must now “make his mind up whether his future is with Ukip or not”.
[i] "There is one senior figure in Ukip briefing everyday consistently. He’s now moved on to there must be a leadership election. That individual must make his mind up whether his future is with Ukip or not." [i]

mikey -he has to be made of Teflon considering all the abuse he has to suffer. I'm not naming names but I personally know the 'donor' who made these comments about Farage and believe me there is a huge ulterior motive and a more than large dose of nose being put out of joint. Farage wanted the Summer off then pitch in for re-election for Party leader. He was going to win that, everyone knows it. Its a pity he could not have the summer off but it seems whatever he does is wrong, but he had the tenacity to keep going and let the poo slinging slide off.
^TIC, surely.
Farage was brilliant, as usual, last night. Had the, initially reticent, audience clapping his every utterance by the end. Had the panel on side, including May who came to bury but left praising Nigel. All this despite Dimbo relentlessly trying to turn everything and everyone against him.
