Well you can only assume that the people who didn't vote have no interest in politics so would you really want them to vote?
I think, possibly wrongly, that most of the ones who do not vote are young people who have just got the vote and do not know anything about politics, yet. I myself (aging disgracefully) do not know much but I learn from the media coverage and make my mind up. I have only ever missed once and that was because I was too ill to get to the polling place.
I did also say he was fickle too - I don't take my political advice from any 'celebs', I research and make my own mind up.
But not everyone follows the media coverage, both young and old.
Failing to vote does rather devalue the result - for example I understand that only 24% of the voting population chose Cameron's Party last week. So three out of four people either don't want him or don't care.

Similar (and even lower) figures have been recorded in the past for both the main parties.

ummmm... your more than welcome!!
Being so rude and personal does you no favours wimp.
But canary, what is the point in someone voting if they know absolutely nothing about politics?
My son met him two weeks ago. Russell Brand was jogging in central London and they both crossed on the same crossing, he said to my son "Hello mate" and shook his hand.
I like him, he makes me laugh and he's easy on the eye, but I admit he can be a plonker at times !

A fair point, and not easy to answer. I would say however that I doubt that all the 34% who didn't vote know nothing about politics - equally some of those who did vote probably know nothing about politics.
Better not to vote than fill the paper with abuse. nb each ballot has ID and is traceable.
Absolutely disgusting of him pointing out the truth like that. That's no way to keep the masses from rioting !
