Prison For Ex Police
Is there a prison somewhere in the country that is specifically (or has a wing that is specifically) for ex police, prison officers etc that have been given a custodial sentence?
Someone recently mentioned to me that there was but I havnt heard of it.
Thanks.

Read this book some years ago http:// www.ama zon.co. uk/A-Fa ir-Cop- Michael -Buntin g/dp/19 0632192 2 about a copper who got sent down and had a hard time of it. but the guy I recently spoke to insisted that there WAS a nick for convicted police, prison officers, solicitors etc.
Wouldnt like to be a convicted copper thats for sure.
Thanks again.

I understand that they can request to go on "Rule 45 segregation" where they believe that their safety is at risk but segregation units are also used to house other prisoners who are at risk eg paedophiles, and prisoners who are adjudged to be a risk to the safety and good order of the prison or who are a risk to themselves....so no walk in the park.
