any one know when to change the cam belt on a standard rover 25 i've been told its 40,000 but that seems rather low

sounds bout right 40 k or 4 years whichever is soonest. u can leave it if u wish but rover belts n tensioners are prone to snappin/breakin up so i know wat i would be doin

Change it now..............cost around �80

It says that the older Rover 200 K Series requires an essential belt change at 35-40k miles or 3-4 years, where as the newer L series (99 on) only needs a belt replacement at 84,000 miles, or 5 years.
