Partial Denture
4 Answers
Just in early there this morning from my dentist re the 3rd fitting of my chrome partial denture - (holding 4 front teeth). The teeth look lovely (hey ho) but was disappointed to sorta feel the chromy bit and also there are half clasps that will attach to back teeth. (I didn't have those clasps with this temp)
I am a bit disappointed as I somehow didn't think there was going to be as much "falsness" about. She unbeknown to me has added to the chrome thing a back tooth which I absolutely knew nothing about. I will have 4th and final fitting in two weeks and am shi&&ing a brick in that they won't be comfortable. Any words of reassurance - thanks.

Probably the dentist will have to adjust them at your say so at the final fitting. If, when they are final, and you go home and then in the next few days find they are uncomfortable, you just have to return until they get it right. Bet they boost your confidence !
can I say - I have been wearing 4 front temporary teeth for the past 6 months or so - when I got the 3rd fitting today - there is an extra tooth on the said plate for the back - I couldn't believe it. Then there was whish whosh and out the door (nicely) - and I can't believe that I now have an added back tooth on the plate without my being told. Is that normal. This what I am worried about - dealing with 4 front teeth temporary and now final fitting 5 teeth. God I am so worried.
