I know why you feel you always have to say that tezmand, it's because someone will always say 'it's not real' as if they are the first to say it (yawn) we are not supposed to comment on TV in Media & TV you know! As for Laurel, I can't stand the character now, she used to be fun.

I think that's the whole point, we're not supposed to like her as an alcoholic and find it difficult to be sympathetic. It's hard to see it as an illness. Sadly that's what happens to some people in real life.
I agree with chrissa, she's doing a good job.
