Missing dog
10 Answers
I feel terrible and useless, my nan lives in Clapham, London 300 miles away and I have just found out that her dog has gone missing. She lives with my physically & mentally disabled uncle and she is completly housebound. My uncle is in hospital and has been for a week so she has no-one that can look for the dog. My mum has called the police and Battersea Dogs home but to no avail, does anyone have any tips on how I may be able to help?

That would be the first port of call.If they dog had been roaming around it could well have been rounded up by said warden and be in the pound.Worth a try.The Wandsworth Parks Police are responsible for the dog control unit around the Clapham ..Clapham Junction area.May be worth a try.
Hope you soon find him.Good luck.

She can phone the local police station. If she has Yellow Pages, she can also phone round the local vets in case somebody has phoned them to report a stray dog. If she lives in a house or flat, she can also write out a notice about her missing dog and stick it on her front door or front gate with her phone number. Hope it turns up soon.
