Twice Today
11 Answers
Twice today the same odd thing occurred.
This lunchtime doorbell sounded, immediately I trekked down the stairs, as I reached the bottom step landline phone rang.
Nobody at the door, checked 1471 on phone, number withheld.
Happened again about 7ish, no one at the door no stranger in sight, this time knew the number and called back.
Coincidence? Who rang the doorbell?

We think that because it is a cordless doorbell it must, everynow and again, be at the same frequency as the current when the light is switched on. (Don't know whether that could be the case with a phone and doorbell though).
I had that with the doorbell ringing. On about the third time I noticed the house opposite had a visitor at their door. When it happened again a day later I looked over the road and there was someone there. I went over to neighbour later and had a chat with her. It turned out we had both bought a new doorbell from Lidl and they were on the same frequency. I sent mine back and got a refund.
