Dave, have you been over to Clare island? Achill island is also stunning. My daughter lives in Shraigh, Belmullet....such a beautiful part of the world.

Not this year, ummmm - but I've been to Achill a couple of times in the past - lovely place.

Clare Island is on the list for next year's birdwatching trip I think.

If I could afford it I think I'd live on the West Coast of Ireland - not just the scenery, the people are great too.

If you ever go to Sligo take a trip up Mass Hill. It's beautiful. There's a loch half way up the mountain. And the local swimming pool is just a river with some steps down into it and some changing rooms....lol
