Have had the youngest grandchildren overnight so decided to take them to the cinema for a treat. We went to see Moomins on the Riviera. If you're thinking of going to see it..........don't bother. Absolutely awful and two hours of my life I'll never get back. Even the kids were bored.

Hey Gavmacp, the books might be OK so wouldn't worry about it. They just seem to make a hash of the films sometimes and they bear no resemblance to the original story.

I got the books out of curiosity as I remember loving them as a child. I was curious to see if they were still relevant. The kids loved them. I just know they will want to see this film.

I suppose it would depend on their ages - my 7 year old grandson was totally bored but maybe that says more about him lol.
