I think Rochdale have done brilliantly this season. They are one of the smallest clubs in the league and to finish just outside the play-offs is a great achievement for them. Keith Hill has done a fantastic job with the tiny resources he has. They have given some pride back to the town in view of all the bad things that have happened recently. Well done Rochdale. The town is proud of your football team.

My main ante-post bet in Div 1 was PNE to be promoted at 7/2 (which i collected on yesterday with their 4-0 win at Wembley) but i also had a decent each way bet on Rochdale to be promoted. I got quite a good run for my money but the wheels rather came off towards the end of their season. If they can keep hold of players such as Henderson and Vincenti, and maybe add one or two, they may do even better next season. You may even be playing The Clarets the season after that:-)
