Yahoo Mail...this Is A Bit Weird

I've just noticed this...when I type in a letter on the "to" line,a number of contacts come up. Ok,but where it used to be just several...now there are many including eBayers I've bought from,a fair number from the "past", some I don't recognise at all...some that I *think* I've seen on emails from my sis-in-law...and some NEIGHBOURS. I only know they live nearby because their email Addy's have part of a street name or Close in them. For the most part,these are *not* people I know. I'm assuming that my address is popping up somewhere now also. Should I be worried...or accept "the more the merrier" ??? Signed " confused in Devon"

it saves any address you sent to or had mail from so clean up your "contacts" every now and then to get rid of them - dont know why they started doing that maybe there is a turn off in the options somewhere.
