Cuckoo

Where and when did you hear the cuckoo this year? Up here in the highlands it was about the 20th of may! Love the sound of the cuckoo especially in the morning.We have 3 in a small area and that can be hard going though!!

Four weeks ago , heard one in wooded area five miles west of Southend and heard another 10 days ago while playing golf three miles from my home on the Essex coast.

I haven't heard any, maybe they don't like Milton Keynes.

We used to hear them from mid April but not now ,it seems to be a bit later.

I havent heard the cuckoo for fifty years. I used to hear them regularly..

Haven't heard one yet this year.

When I was a kid they seemed to be all over the place from April-May,now it must be five years since I heard one.

Yes,,it was around 30th May here near York.
