So are we really supposed to believe that its only now, that the Yanks have started proceedings, that the sponsors are realising what a can of fraudulent, dishonest shysters FIFA really are ? Really ?

Pull the other one VISA, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, et all ! They have all their corporate snouts in the trough for years.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you, mikey, that those companies, like most, only care about sales and as long as people are watching their ads they are happy, it doesn't matter if satan himself is running the show on the backs slaves. The first sign of any negative publicity and they try to appear clean as the driven snow and distance themselves from it. QED.

on the plus side though, this may just mark the end of FIFA. The world of soccer can start again with a new world body and the sponsers could be just the catalyst to move in that direction. FIFA is irepairably damaged and not fit for purpose, it needs to be killed off.

I'm pretty sure one of the 2018 sponsors pulled out months ago.

Sepp Blatter and his cohorts are as guilty as sin....

The FBI have made the arrests, and plea bargaining is pretty big with them...so as of yesterday when the first arrests were made Blatter would have had no friends withinn FIFA !...

I said in another post , all the sponsors need to tell FIFA if Blatter doesnt go then they pull the plug on all sponsorship deals..thats just for starters...England should withdraw from the world cup and so should others if Blatter doesnt go...
