this isnt really my specialist subject so sorry if none of this makes sense. basically, this is the modem aol sent me when i updated to aol broadband, and it worked fine for a couple of months, but now, nearly every other time i go to sign on the internet, the modems status is displayed as training, and it wont let me sign on the internet. i was wondering if this was a problem as its started happening so suddenly, and also if theres anything i can do to speed the training up cus it can take several hours to finish

thanks

I had the same problem last July, BT came out twice and said the fault lay with them. In the end it was discovered that my actual phone cable in the house was not strong enough to carry the broadband so a BT engineer ran me a length of cable 5 ply I think and since then my broadband has worked perfectly
I have the same modem, and that too kept saying training. Hope this helps.

yeah it does help thanks. just another quick question, when it said it was training, was there anything about a Local Area Connection being unplugged?
