If approved it appears men will have to carry a breathalyser with them to ensure any woman who consents is under a certain limit allowing them to consent. Presumably, going forwards, a Consent Contract will need to be signed.

I'm being flippant of course, but isn't the suggestion just a bit nuts? Isn't Dame Agiolini being just a smidge insulting to women by suggesting those who are over a limit do not know what they are agreeing to?

Not read your link but I'm sure this has been discussed before.

I advise all women to carry such a kit in case I was drunk when I agreed to sexual intercourse with them.

The idea sounds ridiculous to me. The last paragraph in the report is the only one that seems reasonable. Women's capacities for alcohol are all different and the idea that one could accuse a man of rape after sleeping with him having drunk a couple of sherries too many is ludicrous and horribly unfair to men.

Perhaps they should make it illegal for women to drink if they intend to take part in sex. :-)

This is going to turn into a nightmare for some poor saps.
Obviously, a (sober) man shouldn't take advantage of an incapable girl. (and that happens) But I think it should be a case by case matter.
A neighbour of mine went to prison last year. She had accused her last 5 boyfriends of raping her. Whether it was through spite or for money/attention I couldn't tell you( I give her a wide berth) What I'm saying is this sort of thing will give that sort of woman a 100% success rate.

I would argue the case that in a lot of cases the woman's libido rises after a few drinks...
