I have been told to do this before, but I am sure i haven't done it properly or 100% of it as my credit is still disappearing. All this technology is beyond me. :-)

The manual for it isn't available online and Windows phones, in general, aren't very popular. (Most people prefer Android phones or, if they've got the money, iPhones).
However Argos (which owns the Bush brand) has a dedicated helpline for Bush products, so you might be able to get the information you require by calling 0207 744 0346. (You'll have to wait until Monday though, as the line is only open M-F, 0900-1700).

In line with Chris' advice... as relates to an Apple iPhone, when you've completed using the phone for a period of time, click the on-off butto twice. This might bring up a number of "pages" that relate to destinations you've selected... kinda like a page per URL you've selected. These suck up a lot of battery as well as useage of data if you allow the phone to "go to sleep" when they are still stored. If that's the case, flip each page directly up with your finger or thumb tip. This (at least on an iPhone) will delete them and stop the battery drainage and data use...
