Saturday. Lots of rain during the night, not looking good for today either. Guess who's got a charter! Wet weather gear is the order of the day I reckon.
Tiggy must be pleased he moved into Tiggy Palace yesterday, It's kept him nice and dry and cosy. Sleeping like a baby, so he is!
A very good lunch we had yesterday, The harvester has changed for the better since Vera and I last went there. We will be going there again.
Well, we were supposed to have to torrential rain and thunderstorms yesterday, but it turned out to be the nicest day so far this year....lots of sunshine and it was really warm. But the rain did come late last night, although it was only gentle stuff after all !
should have driven from Okehampton to here yesterday, mikey - it was foul, really bad, 30 minutes lost at Polzeath/Temple, a Porsche having hit the barrier and spun - seriously wrecked and pointing the wrong way, no one else involved and no one injured by the look of things. Then 4 miles on, another 20 minutes gone with the queue into the one lane bit off the moor. By the way, they've started the prep work for widening that, chaos for the next 18 months up there.....
Morning WBMXXX and all rain here as well most of yesterday but very welcome as I am looking after friends greenhouse and a mountain of pot plants . But quite easy as all done with a hose . Would take me ages with a can . Have a nice weekend all.
