Did shopping in Lidl, back to car, looked for keys, searched bag, no sign of them, almost panicking when car park attendant came over and waved a set of keys at me. I asked where he found them. "They were in your car door madam"
I certainly felt a plonker!
I also walked home from the supermarket, noticed my car wasn't outside the house and started to panic. I then remembered that I'd driven to the supermarket :-)
I have done it before too. I collected the 3 youngest grandchildren from primary school, left car in school car park, went to park at the back of the school. After about half an hour a woman came to playground and just walked up to me and said here are your keys, they were in your car door. Now I hadn't seen this person before to my recollection, there were other people in playground so how the heck did she know they were mine?
Lucky he was there Caren. It's easily done. I went away for a weekend and left the front door wide open! Luckily a neighbour knew where the spare key is.
You arent alone Caran! Afew years ago, I walked past our local pillar box and the postie had left his keys in it. There were more than a dozen of them on the key ring.I took them out and handed them into our local post office.I thought at a time someones in deep trouble! Oops!.
