Will Blasphemy Laws Be Reintroduced?

look i am not the brightest star in the sky as regards computers,but i have just bought a new laptop and want to transfer all my files and settings from 1 to the other with as little hassle as possible.can i do it via a usb cable or do i have to do it by memory stick or disc?which is easiest.is it easy to transfer my email addresses etc?any help would be appreciated..

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If you are using XP on both machines there is an option available in XP called Files and settings transfer wizard. It is on the System Tools menu.
Run it on your laptop first, to "save" your files and settings, then run it on your new PC to "import" your files and settings.
There are a few places on the web that explain how to do it but read them carefully so you know what you are doing.
