The most interesting aspect is that under normal circumstances a Muslim woman would not be allowed to travel without an adult male. Which also makes you wonder if those three young girls actually went alone or did they have a male chaparone?

There is another post in News on this. I'll say the same thing. Happily married women do not, repeat not, up and leave with their children. I was listening to the fathers at the time and my cynicism levels surprised even me! 'I love her, come back' etc. etc.

They are either incredibly neglectful husbands (arranged marriages?) who are really saying 'my pride has been hurt, I want my children and who is going to make my dinner/iron my shirts' - or they are well aware of the situation and acting.

From experience of a certain type of muslim from Bradford I know (not think, know) that they will lie until they believe it themselves and without compunction. Eg. boy caught smoking by me behind shed in playground denied it even though I saw him grind out the stub and there was smoke coming out of his mouth whilst he told me he wasn't smoking!
