So I'm watching Royal Ascot and having a few bets
I'm also on AB.. commenting on a music thread by andy hughes
I start singing a few songs
I get an earworm....♫♪♫ for the benefit of mr kite there will a blah blah blah ♫♪
I then spot a horse named. ..yep you've got it 'Mr Kite'
I think there's a Mr Kite on AB you're singing the song Mr Kite (bored yet)
So, doing ok with the betting anyway, I thought 'why not?'

My son text me from school today and said his teacher said Illuminate won't get beat in the 2.30 at Ascot today.

It won @4/1

Turns out his teacher has a share in a horse Illuminate beat and the horse he has a share in has won since, great form boost

Wish I had a teacher like that :o(

PankySmooch; The horse in question was called Great Page and had, in fact, won it's debut race, a 2k maiden at Windsor, prior to coming 2nd to Illuminate in a 7k race at Salisbury, both over 5f. It then went on to Naas and won a 32K race over a furlong extra.

Yep, that's the one Ken, his teacher has a 2% share in it, it was entered to run at Ascot this week but is going to Newbury next
