Friend who has and is suffering from cancer for the last 6 years has got away on her first holiday in 6 years I am so so happy for her - please God she doesn't be sick when she is away. She has gone to her favourites place in the world Fuerteventa (I loathe the bloody place). But I just had to mention some happy thing and that is one of them.

oh so do i mamy - you know in the middle of chemo she had open heart surgery opened from the throat down and then went back to chemo - I truly dont know how she coped - it has thrown a different issue to a hol for me - if she has taken a chance with the cancer then I can take a chance with the vertigo - I just didn't want to go on hols with friends and spoil their hols but Portugal is on my bucket list - if I don;t get this year will get next year God willing.

And shs is so positive - even her hubby said you have no idea conne - when she gets bad news - she just sorta say "sure what can you do".

Just a wee update - friend got away for about 3 days and after vomiting and diarrhoea had to come home. She said she wasn't fit to really go but her lovely son had bought her the ticket.

Please pray for her today - as she is going into hospital today to get a biopsy of a tumour (near her bowel) tomorrow.
