Cc Cleaner

Before I download CC Cleaner, can I ask ::

1...is it safe ?

2....does it work !

Yes hc...and nothing has gone BANG yet !

Just think...all that faffing about with defragging and CC Cleaner, which only made a miniscule difference, when all long, there was this huge great monster, sitting in my hard drive, happily munching its way through my free space !

I have had my PC for about 7 years now, and its been very reliable. But I suppose I must have had something else loaded on before, probably Windows XP. Actually, I think it was XP, now I come to think about it.

But I would have thought some kind of alert would have come up before, telling me that I have something I don't need any more. I wonder how many other people are struggling with a capacity problem, whose cause is the same as mine ?
