This is an unusual quiz as you have to take parts of the clue to make up place names in the UK.

ie The boy RIPped his trousers ON a nail - Ripon

I could do with some help with the following clues

1 When on holiday they bought a flute (5)
2 We only use cash never a credit card (5)
3 He could only kick a ball with his left foot (4)
4 They asked for money to buy more sweets (9)
5 When it rained they got very wet and cold (8)
Thanks for any help, as this will save me more sleepless nights trying to solve them.

Thanks for your help. Where is Creca? I cannot see it in the road atlas but have found Crewe so that is another option. I have just googled Creca and see it is near Gretna so now have two possible answers. Just two more to solve now.

Think no 5 could be Colraine but I am still stuck on this last clue

This is now causing me sleepless nights trying to find an answer.
