Before considering resetting any browsers, I suggest you download and run; a scan with the free edition of Malwarebytes. This could well be all that is required to remove the offending item. Avoid accepting a trial of the premium edition and please report back.

if it is not showing on your hd try opening tools at the top of the page look in add ons and extensions ....somtimes lurk in there
