Cryptic Crosswords Online And Free

Economies have made me give up buying the i newspaper on weekdays and the IOS at the weekend, but I'll continue getting the Times on Saturdays because it has the jumbo crosswords.

That has got me wondering which cryptic crosswords are freely available online. Currently I have these:-

Guardian/Observer http://www.theguardian.com/crosswords which provides new crosswords every day of the week

Financial Times http://www.ft.com/life-arts/crossword 6 days out of 7

Spectator http://www.spectator.co.uk/life/crossword/ every Thursday

Private Eye http://www.private-eye.co.uk/sections.php?section_link=crossword every other Friday

Are there any other sites that provide new cryptics regularly? It doesn't matter if they're only available days after they have appeared in print, the only criterion is that it has to be free - if the grid and clues appear on screen then I can take screenshots and use a graphics tablet and pen to fill in the image of the grid.

p.s. I should have added that I'm not bothered whether they are prize crosswords or not since I've never submitted any to win prizes.

I'll start you off bibble - and then watch this thread with interest. I stopped getting a 'Daily' a few years ago, although a birthday present was a years subscription to the DT.

I don't think that this is quite what you are looking for, but there are some cracking puzzles on Big Dave's Crossword Blog (as well as clues, hints, answers and reviews of each day's Telegraph cryptics.)

"...all your winning bets..." - if only. The stakes were only for a couple of quid each time and I never mentioned the many, many losing bets.

Which gambler ever did mention the losing bets? PS I had got it that it was just a pleasureable diversion.

I do bet at most a fiver at a time (usually only £2) and keep records of every bet, win or lose, - I get a bit obsessive about keeping track of those type of statistics. In the past 2½ years I've made a profit of over £500 on all my bets and put most of that back into the bank.
