I have lots of very fine downy hair on the side of my face. If I have it waxed will it grow back and, if so, will it grow back thicker. Not sure whether or not to just leave well alone. I sometimes have a 'plucking' session which thins it out a bit. Nice to hear what other people do and any side effects which may occur depending on treatment used. I am in my sixties and this seems to becoming more noticeable (or is that just me getting more conscious of it as I get older!)

Tweezers all the time...I like to get those thicker ones before they show.... !!! You can get a prescription cream that lessens the growth from your doctor. I haven't tried it as I promptly lost the tube and felt it wasn't important to disturb a doctor for.
Sounds like the pharmacy dispensed vanishing cream by mistake, Mallyj.

Have it threaded. I sometimes do a wax every few weeks and thread an that come out in between my wax. Do not use facial hair remover creams, they damage your skin, although i always have an emergency Nads facial hair remover in my beauty bag in case i need it mega fast, this one is gentle.

Thanks Mally for your tweezers answer. You have confirmed what I felt so will continue as I have for the last few years. (Didn't really want to start messing around with creams and lasers)
Thanks
