Don't know how I did it - but I just downloaded Adblock plus - they asked me to contribute - I didn't - hit another button and now I am Adblocked. Just wanted to update you. thanks again for your help.

You are aware that you can 'disable' Adblockplus on any website you choose, including Answerbank?

I thought that you only wanted to stop 'Pop-ups' didn't realise you were after the blockage of all adverts.

Tony it is on my Control Panel - I am that busy looking for the words Malabytes blah but it is coming up Mbam so that seems to be short term for the malabytes.

God I think next time I will be getting a new Anti-virus if i live that long - I may just pay for it and have none out of this oul nonsense - you go straight over. Anyway have succeeded with the help of many people on here. Ta again.
