Tuesday. the sun is rising into a cloudless sky. Summer is here at last! Not before time.

Tiggy seems to be enjoying the warm nights. He was exploring every inch of the garden last night, so I don't think I'll see any gastropods today. Good lad. ;o}

I got the barbie fired up yesterday. the first time this year.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning everybody !

Very, very sunny here today and already its getting rather warm, too warm for me I'm afraid. It was 25 degrees in the Rhondda yesterday...almost unknown. All the sheep were lying underneath trees !

Day off today, so I hope to go up the Beacons for a drive and a small Walkies. But I must get the car cleaned first. We have three Greek lads here in the village, who have taken over an old abandoned petrol station, and they do a really good job of valeting, for only £10. When they are finished, the car looks better than new !

I will be doing my bit to help the Greeks today !

Morning mikey. I knew the Beacons only too well in army days! Especially Senybridge! There is a bunch of lads, East European I think, who do a good job of car cleaning near here too. £8 for a wash and polish. £20 for a complete inside and out blitz. A good job they do too.
can't have a clean car at the moment. the guinea fowl pecks at herself if there is a reflection. love the beacons. spent lots of time wandering over them both before the mountain centre was built and then just aftewards. children loved it too.
Morning Boaty !

Yes, my lads do a marvelous job as well. At weekends, there are probably 20-30 cars queuing up at any one time. In the winter, these lads get wet and never get dry again until they get home. They work hard all day long. I can't understand why some of the lazy unemployed in my Village don't set up a similar business. There is another one just like mine, about 5 miles up the valley and they too are well patronised. They deserve all the credit they get for all their hard work.

I shall probably go somewhere today, that you will be very familiar with...over the SENTA range, from Sennybridge ! Incredible scenery up there. We shall lunch in Llandovery, in the famous Ace Cafe, that always has about 50 motor bikes outside !

No mountain centre when I was there. We did make a bit of a row at Sennybridge with the field guns though! As well as tromping all over them.
Question Author
Thanks for the reminder mikey. I do indeed remember it. Even tromping across it we were taken by the beautiful wonders of nature. I will go for another look methinks. Only this time I'll do it by car! :o}

I agree. A lot of the idle scroungers could earn a good living if they tried.
time for me to go and do nothing. take care all. xx

I missed that DT. I'll have a look for it later.
Question Author
Time to go and supervise the sunshine in the garden. It's got to be kept up to the mark. Can't have second class sunshine cam we!

Have a happy day everyone.
DTC...I have no plans to come down to Cornwall again this year. My job could be coming to an end before Xmas, and if that happens, I just won't be able to afford anything like a holiday.
