"Air con circuit"? You make it sound like an electrical problem, but I guess what you mean is how do you recharge the air con .. re-gass it / top it up.

A garage near to me recharge air con units (re-gass them), they said the cost is 55 if you have the correct connector (Yours should be the newer type so ok).

I think the gas is called R134a .. Look in yellow pages or http://www.yell.com (or is that .co.uk)

Thabks Kev, yes the gas side and yes its like a car tyre connector, will look in yellow pages, thanks.
On my 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 it looks like a car tyre valve.. I was told this was the old fitting so I'd have to have a converter put on it which would cost an extra 60. One guy said he knew of someone that had a converter the guy added to the gas cylinder so he could charge up the new or old type.
I have t-tops on my car which I can remove, and electric windows.. the air con is disconnected (belt removed) as they do use more fuel. I was just wondering what the cost would be so I asked.
I know it sounds silly, but ask your ice cream van driver !. They have their refrigeration recharged regular (its exactly the same proceedure) he will have already done the shopping around.

Have got the gas on EBAY it cost 22.50 with a 4.40 delivery, total of 26.90. Will wait for delivery then hopefully just squirt it in.

Will let you know when done one way or the other.
